  1. Top 5 best scopes at #4 not a scope wtf. You can tell when someone is just making a video to make money or they actually have a passion for what they are covering. Just in case you can’t tell this is a video for the $$$ unfortunately YouTube doesn’t pay guntubers squat so…….what a dummy

  2. I have Leupold and Nikon Rimfire scopes and cannot see much difference between them and a 36 dollar on sale from Midway Simmons.

  3. So I came back to re-visit this based on comments. The only scope recommendation that makes me wonder is the Simmons since it’s designed for 22 Magnum. All the others have an either an adjustable objective or a parallax setting that is 50 yards which is good for 22 LR. Looks like we have some bench rest shooters that want more magnification and 1/8 MOA click adjustments; which is perfectly fine for that use case as far as I can tell. Intended use makes a difference.

  4. I hold a 22 rimfire silhouette champion trophy and use a Burris 4.5-14X Fullfield II Ballistic plex reticle. I understand perhaps discontinued. Maybe a dying sport or a shortage of shooters that know how to appreciate it?

  5. Any scope that’s got clear glass and holds zero will be a fine scope for a .22. mil dots can be handy for holdover if your pushing the range. Ao improves fine accuracy and allows use of a night vision add on. Bullshit aside, a hawke vantage or the likes of will do the job fine for not a lot of money (for the most of us anyway.)

  6. *I refuse to listen to anyone that doesn’t know how to say "Droptine". Where do these idiots come from?…And BTW…Who the hell needs a 200 yard scope for a .22 Long Rifle? Max effective range on ANY .22LR is about 50 yards. 75 yards if you’re an Idiot*

  7. Tell me more about the drop(teen). 😂
This guy seems to know as much about scopes as anyone else that never touched a rifle.

  8. Stopped watching when you pronounce droptine as dropteen. Absolute ignorance and no tests were actually conducted to make this list.

  9. The best .22 rimfire scope is the Leupold Freedom 3-9xx33 with parallax adjustment. At least in the sub-400$ price range. BTW I consider PA on a rimfire scope as a MUST HAVE feature regardless of power.

  10. This is an awful review….. Every section shows multiple different scopes that are not the actual scope being reviewed…..

  11. For your number one choice, I would not get a 9X or 12X scope for a 22 unless it has an adjustable objective. Many of the scopes that are 9X and above have a fixed parallax of 100 or 150 yards.

  12. I have had and still have a variety of scopes from very expensive to budget.
The one thing I can say without hesitation is that the middle budget scopes of today are superior to expensive scopes of yesteryear. Can’t say that about firearms but I sure do about scopes and for that matter ammunition.

  13. Thank you for this review. The details helped me sift through the marketing maze and make a choice of the Romeo5 to fit onto the Smith & Wesson 15-22 Sport.

  14. 1:25 Describes the 3-9×32, shows the 4×32 Mag.
2:36 "Burris Drop _teen_ " These videos would be way more convincing if the narrators were knowledgeable about the product and its use.

  15. Hey folks help me out here. I own a Marlin Model 25MN that shoots 22WMRs . Love the gun and shoots pretty dang accurately. 25 years ago I put a Tasco Pronhorn 4×32 scope on it I bought at K Mart. Might have been a "Blue Light Special" but not positive on that. Anyway I have recently been rekindling my desire to shoot accurately due to coyote problem. Im in New Hampshire where I will be hunting thick woods, clear cuts and power lines. Thinking most likely shots would be about 50 to 150 yds range. Whats is my best option for a scope without breaking the bank?

  16. I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.

  17. Even the most expensive of the scopes in this video wouldn’t make the cut to become the scope on one of my squirrel rifles. They just don’t have the quality or features. The person who did this review didn’t know much about buying a good hunting scope for a .22. And, yes, I am willing to back that up.
