  1. SPYPOINT I been using for years and they only last about 1 year and it’s a wrap with the customer service was terrible ! Got a deal on Covert cameras and purchased 12. They are quicker and better video quality. As far as lasting over a year I don’t know? My buddy using mounted edge with good luck. Hard to spend fortune when have 6-20 cell cameras out for average hunter.

  2. I’ve got two of the Moultrie Edge2.. your review is spot on.. troublesome weird functioning – doesn’t trigger then sends hundreds of nothing.. holds photos and videos hostage in the app with no external port to direct connect for downloading manually. Also Moultrie has the most costly cell plan, which I cancelled on the two Edge2 cameras after the deer season ended. I have an older Moultrie I use for security which had failed under warranty but the replacement has functioned well going on year two. I also use a Spypoint for security over the last three years which works fine, I use external battery with solar panel for the security setup on both cameras. I will probably switch to using Spypoint for all my cell cams now.. Thanks for the great and complete review.

  3. I have 3 spypoints. They have been good, but i don’t like how you have to join their insiders club to get hd pics. And also that you have to request the hd pics. Really? Great battery life though. I change batteries during spring turkey and get to stay out of the tick woods till bow season.

  4. I’ve used Spypoint cameras for over 6 years now. Along with the points you raised in your video, their customer service is awesome. 7 days a week and around 10-12 hrs a day is perfect. 2 yr, no questions asked warranty is a winner also. I use them as security cameras in the off season so they never really get a break. I’ve had very few problems with them and Spypoint customer service has always solved the problem one way or another.

  5. Great video. Thanks for all your work. I tried a borrowed Spypoint Flex against my Tactacam Reveal XPro before I invested in more cams. As far as photo motion quality between the two at night, the Tactacam had photo motion blur, whereas the Spypoint was much more clear. Otherwise, the still picture quality, both day and night, of the two was pretty close. I went with all Tactacam X Pros because Tactacam has great customer service and Spypoint, from my research- not so much.

  6. Thank you very much for making this video!! I appreciate you appreciating at the end!! Great work!! It is truly appreciated.

  7. Not impressed with Moultrie Edge ….had 2 setup this week wouldn’t even connect where my cell phone had service 🤦🏻‍♂️…..garbage imo

  8. I really like this YouTube of your comparison of cell cams. I’ve gotten some poor trail cams and am looking at investing in a cell cam option. I liked the common sense approach man. Thanks! 😊

  9. Browning wipes the floor with all of them even though their monthly fees are higher. Battery life is unmatched, and they last longer than 2 years.

  10. Thanks for your effort, all my cameras are all 10+ years old and need upgrading this will help.

    Sincerely,
    Shane J.W.

  11. I own both SPYPOINT and tacticam brands. One test that was not performed was cell reception. In side by side comparison, the tacticam brand had much better cell reception than SPYPOINT.

  12. We just started using cameras. We went with spypoint flex S cams
Installed lithium packs. They seem to be working great transfer pics once a day they have been in the woods for 2 months so I happy about the battery life . I am kind of disappointed with the picture quality for night time photo very grainy and distorted

  13. Excellent video. Thanks for all your effort. I have 4 of the Moultrie Edge cameras and experience the same issues you did. Sitting in my stand, i watched a doe and two yearlings feed around for about three hours, right in front of my cameras, and never got a single picture. Makes me wonder what else i have been missing.

  14. The Moultrie micro 42 brought me here never bought a cell trail cam but after watching this review all the smoke cleared now we know what is best. Thanks Bro!

  15. The muddy cam is garbage. I’ve set 2 up along side other cameras to compare and contrast. Every time I checked the sd card of the other cam, it had hundreds of pics and videos of deer, birds, yotes, bobcats, etc., while the muddy had like 10. I even set it up in my kitchen for a few days while playing with the settings. It almost never even detected humans walking 5 ft in front of it

  16. Reconyx or nothing, mine has been running non-stop for 3 years. I sent another one in that was 10 years old, they upgraded it gave me a call explained what they did and gave me all new gaskets. You cant beat Reconyx i dont care what you say.

  17. Being a new hunter and in the market for cams, this was by far the most in depth video I’ve seen! Great job and thank you!

  18. It would be nice to see a comparison between the sparten vs spypoint see a premium vs budget comparison from the winners

  19. I’ve tried all of them and hands down moultrie edge is the best, it’s the only one I use now. Great having no sd card to deal with and it connects to the best cell signal no matter which company.

  20. Thank you for taking the time to do all that testing!!!!!!! It was very helpful, I am about to invest quite a bit into more cell cams and was very unsure if i wanted to take the chance of switching from Spypoint.Ii have had issues with my Spypoint LM2 cameras on restart from loss of power but their costumer service is great and is always able to resolve my issues. Again THANK YOU for all the work you put into that!!!!!! I believe you saved me a lot of money!!!!!!!!
