  1. I bought the ct22 . Its the best wifi trail camera . The quality is like flagship mobile phone and solar charge makex it great .

  2. i have an issue with your comparisons. To do a true comparison why didn’t you set the cameras up side by side? Shoot the exact same footage at the same time of day and light conditions.

  3. What would you recommend?
I want a 24/7 camera, upclose view range, the unnoticeable thing ya mentioned for the night vision.

I have a project were I’m recording birds at a bird feeder, and I plan to keep recording the birds even after the project, so I don’t want for security or one that’s motion activated.
I have 0 experience with trail cameras, and don’t want to waste money on cameras if there not good.

So what would be a good recommendation for what im wanting to do?

  4. They should list the type of sensor the camera uses. Just like camera’s you can tell good cameras from junk.

  5. Thank you for the detailed review! Could you please let me know which trail camera was used for the video at 2:32? I’m looking for a camera that can capture close-up shots of birds. Unfortunately, I purchased my first camera on a whim, and the video quality is not very good.

  6. Good video as far as I’m concerned. I’m kind of new at this deer trail camera stuff. I’m trying to find something on my property as we speak.

  7. Did you change the megapixels up on the cameras themselves. My Moultrie cams gave me different options for resolutions and different features. Just wondering. I want the best like anyone else. More in one ways. Less in some ways.

  8. The picture quality is the least of my worries. There are a lit of extraneous features that are more important than the picture quality. I bought a bunch of Campmark trail cameras and they hardly ever worked, for example.

  9. I’m here because of trigger speed lol. I picked up a relatively cheap trail cam, and for a test I jogged past it. The video taken had me just exiting the video. When I walked past it, I was in the video from beginning to end so that test was okay.

  10. I’m looking for a buddy who has an outdoor property he’s trying to sell but the neighbor keeps stealing from him and taking his signs. Trying to get him the right trail cam to catch the intruder but also to be hidden from site so he doesn’t take it. His budget is infinite as he prefers to catch this a hole. Any suggestions?

  11. I have Vision Pro trail camera, and I turn on to take picture, but it is empty after night in forest, there si no pictures or film, I tried to use it on my dog also, but there is nothing, empty.
    PLEASE HELP WITH INFO

  12. You explanation of Megapixels (MP) as stated by trail cameras refers to PHOTOS, not videos. The videos produced by trail cameras are measured by it’s Video Resolution, i.e (1920 × 1080) which is commonly known as HD or Full HD, When you compared two video’s side by side you were comparing the Video Resolution of both cameras and not the Megapixels (MP).

Also, when a trail camera specifies an angle like 90 degrees or 120 degrees, it is referring to the detection angle or field of view of the passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, not the actual lens/camera viewing angle.

The PIR sensor in trail cameras detects heat signatures from moving objects within that specified detection angle. This allows the camera to be triggered to capture photos/videos when something moves across that field of detection.
The actual camera lens itself usually has a wider angle of view compared to the PIR sensor angle. The lens viewing angle determines how wide of an area the camera can capture in the frame.
    So in summary:

The 90/120 degree spec refers to the PIR motion sensor detection angle
The camera lens itself likely has a wider field of view angle to capture more of the scene once triggered by the PIR sensor

The two angles serve different purposes – the PIR for motion detection and the lens for the actual photography coverage area. Manufacturers separate these specs.

  13. A poor quality lens can make the extra pixels useless. A very important aspect of the sensor is its physical size. A larger sensor with the same pixel count as a smaller sensor will be more sensitive to light and create a less noisy picture. I have had three trail cameras and none of them have been any good at night. You best friend could walk in front of the camera at night, and you’d have a hard time recognizing him from the picture. Video is almost always much lower resolution than the image sensor. The pixel count usually only applies to still photos.

  14. Your comparisons are a big issue. Especially the mega pucek comparison. The reason the lower megapixel one looks better is because of lighting, your lighting is inconsistent. It feels like you’re cherry picking. The reason the higher megapixel ones look worse is because the lighting in the videos make the camera set its ISO very high, causing a lot of noise.

  15. In my 50 years of doing photography it’s the lens that gives you the image your screen on your is 7 megapixel if that

  16. I am subscribed to your channel. You provide a lot of good content. Looks like you set your cameras up at 2′ to 3′ above the ground. I am going to give that height a try. Keep up the great videos.

  17. Great video- thank you! I have some Moultrie Edge cell cameras. They are extremely slow to trigger video. The shortest option is 30 seconds! Terrible for surveillance and nearly useless for game.

  18. This video is great… I did me some learning… really a big help… There are so many to choose from I didn’t know where to start…subscribed..thanks.👍

  19. Got a mid level one, it’s OK. Way overly complicated for my simple needs, too may options. This one goes most likely would not by any other.
