  1. Can you put any optic on a Canik or only the mechanics, and are those Canik optics comparable to the better optics on the market???

  2. My last/first pistol was a Canik pt9sf and it was a full size 9mm with 18 rounds standard, LOVED IT but it was a little too big to conceal carry.

  3. When I went to buy the first pistol of what I consider my "modern era" (I had a rifle as a kid, but it got lost in one or another of my many changes of address, and years later I started buying guns again), the store didn’t have many of the common brands (Glock, Sig, etc.) because, well, it was 2020.

What they did have when I asked about a home defense/first pistol in a long long time (I had learned some pistol stuff in high school several decades ago) was a P10F. Four years, a few thousand rounds downrange, and it’s still a favorite base gun, although its been replaced in the home defense duties by my P09 (that conveniently uses the same magazines, and already had a red dot on it). That P10F is staged in one of the defensive positions in my house anyway, in case I can’t get to something else.

I wanted to like the M&P M2.0 compact I had, and I hear that the newer triggers are smoother, but mine always felt gritty compared to my three P10-series triggers (yes, I have the -S and the -C). I don’t regret selling that one.

When I was first considering buying a carry gun, a trusted friend suggested the P10S, the Sig P365XL, and the Canik TP9 sub-compact. I still haven’t gotten to shoot a Canik, but I’ve been pretty happy with what I already have.

  4. Outlaw you make all of them look accurate and I own a couple of them on your list! I would probably have better luck after a twelve pack and a handful of rocks!! Lmao ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿ˜‚ just kidding! ๐Ÿ˜† keep them coming brother!!

  5. New subscriber here and an old guy!๐Ÿ˜† I watched a few of your videos and I really like your style. I’m going to be applying for my LTC here in MA. I’ve never owned a gun before. I am prior military and have shot a number of times. Boy Scouts, military training, my uncle was a gun owner, brothe-in-law.. But I never felt the need to own a weapon. Well now that I’m retired and Sig Saure Academy is right up the street I’m going to my first class for gun ownership and like many things the choices are over whelming. You break things down in a very easy to understand manner and I appreciate that. Thanks and if i can support in some way I will.

  6. I’m currently using a Walther PDP-F series as my home defense/EDC.
I’ll be picking up the Beretta 1301 Tactical Gen 2 for my primary home defense in a few months.

  7. I’m a new viewer as of the last month but I took a bunch of my old clothes to a shelter here in Minneapolis because you’ve asked me to in every one of your videos. I think it’s awesome you look out for your fellow man and you seem like an incredibly genuine guy.

  8. "I dont know why you would be using gloves in your house" You would know the answer to that question if you were married to my wife. Its winter and like mid 20s out and she has the ac and a fan on at night.

  9. My first semi-auto pistol was a Springfield XD40 with the v10 barrel. Came with 2-10 round mags. I have since picked up 2-12 round mags. Iโ€™m pretty sure I got it close to 20 years ago. Never had a FTF, can shoot squirrels at 40 yards, and wonโ€™t ever sell it.
Looking for an EDC, another HD gun, and an over the top gun. This channel is great to see what the pros and cons are for each style of pistol. I donโ€™t see many Springfieldโ€™s on a lot of channels. Are they just to plain, triggerโ€™s arenโ€™t the greatest, or stippling not enough?
Now that Iโ€™ve been doing due diligence, my top picks are Canik, Shadow Systems, CZ, and Beretta.

  10. Glock 26 IWB daily
Glock 19 on the night stand with a light
Glock 34 (stock) why not โ€ฆ the mags work in the 26

  11. I want da/sa with decocker. I’m planning on CZ SP01 tactical. How many other choices do I have? I’d love 10mm.
I just learned of your channel and love it. Thanks, Mark.

  12. Out of fear I buy protection. Out of fear I build muscle. Out of fear I learn martial arts. Out of fearโ€ฆ. Money and fear make the world revolve around

  13. Thanks for this vid my lady is wanting to get a firearm and this helped me narrow down some options fir her. Im also looking to get something as my everyday carry is a glock 19 gen3.

  14. Most importantly is to take whatever you purchase to the range, take lessons and practice, practice , practice.
Iโ€™d still choose a Mossberg 590 Shockwave over a pistol for home defense.

  15. I’m so sick of being an illinois resident because I had a medical card iv been denied for a foid card. All I want is a smaller pistol for home defense. But my politicians don’t want me to feel safe in my home. Never been arrested never even gotten a ticket. Im on no medications nor do I have any mental illness. I’m more mature than half the older adults in my family but I can’t have a small pistol. Morons running my state.

  16. It’s the smith & Wesson ez , w/ thumb safety an light rail. Really the best choice for a novice, not looking for a gun collection.

  17. Bullshit title. What is the incidence of armed home invasion?
How does the average person train to clear a room?
What is the group size in inches needed at 10 yards in 2 Seconds?

  18. The Walther PDP Pro with premium duty trigger is AWESOME best handgun in my collection.

The trigger def makes a difference in accuracy. Never ONE failure with mine. No matter what ammo I shoot.

  19. I’m just curious… are these "beginners" pistols good for non beginners too…? or is it that professionals or experts would use something different…? Thanks.

  20. Excellent well detailed video !! And with great handgrip views !! With quality and pricing very close to each other!! ๐Ÿ˜Š !! I could if needed to but would if possible hold each other for the minor differences!! Before ordering or buying one of them and you covered actually 3 of them I was already considering !! ๐Ÿค— ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ !!! This will be for me a twice watched video ! And I did like, save, and Subscribe !!!

  21. My problem is that i have not used postols that lack the top of the slide and just uses an additional Streamlight HP 1000+ sighting system under the sllide. My old Gen. 2 G19 runs flawlessly and it flat works.

  22. All great guns. I like my SIG P220 for my defense gun. Old school .45 all steel. SIGs just fit my hand and the sight angle/alignment is perfectly natural.

  23. The P10F and p10c are just goat guns. Underrated for sure. Accurate, reliability and flat shooting. Very good trigger as well. Now they come optics ready. Best 450$ i ever spent. My p10f if my main duty gun now. I’m glad outlaw put it at number 1.

  24. How did you learn to talk that fast?? If I could talk that fast I wouldn’t need anything you’re selling… whatever it is. Thanks anyway.

  25. Brand new shooter here. Iโ€™m a little confused. Did you say itโ€™s better to learn on iron sites or with a dot? Please clarify. Very informative vids. Thanks.

  26. So I noticed these are all striker fired. Is there a reason why you donโ€™t recommend a SA/DA pistol for home defense? I would think that a SA/DA pistol is better because it gives you another second on the trigger before you escalate it.. Iโ€™ve always been sort of paranoid if striker fired Pistols because of how easily you can pull the trigger, and the risk of accidents are a lot lower. So Iโ€™d would think a SA/DA is better for home defense. Iโ€™m just curious to hear your thoughts on it, Iโ€™m still pretty new to this and am in the process of selecting a home defense pistol. Thanks for the video!
